Rated 3 out of 5 by from Convenient Pass With Some Important Drawbacks Overall, the Chicago C3 Pass provided good value and the attraction selection was convenient for our family trip. Most of the experiences were enjoyable, and the flexibility of choosing attractions was helpful. However, there were two major issues that significantly impacted our experience. First, the architecture river boat tour was disappointing. The day we visited was extremely cold and windy, and the boat used for the tour was very basic with poor indoor protection from the weather. The indoor seating area was not properly enclosed, allowing cold wind to enter throughout the ride, which made the experience uncomfortable for families traveling with children, elders, or pregnant women. Additionally, the tour was advertised as a 90-minute experience, but our ride lasted only around 75 minutes. I had previously taken a similar architecture tour separately, and the boat used then was much larger and properly enclosed with windows, making it comfortable even during cold or rainy weather. I would strongly recommend partnering with operators that provide better enclosed boats during colder seasons or clearly communicating the type of boat being used before booking. The second issue was with the app experience. Accessing tickets was frustrating throughout the trip. Even when I was already signed in, the tickets would frequently not appear in the app. Each time, I had to manually sign out, request an OTP again, and log back in just to access the tickets. This became inconvenient while managing family travel and moving between attractions. With improvements to the app stability and better quality standards for the river tour experience, this pass could provide a much better overall customer experience.
