USS Midway Museum

Non si entra nel Museo USS Midway, ma si "sale a bordo" della portaerei del XX secolo più longeva d'America. Attraccata sul vivace lungomare di San Diego, la leggendaria nave espone 30 aerei restaurati sull'enorme ponte di volo. Mostre interattive e simulatori di volo permettono di sperimentare la vita di un aviatore navale. È possibile passeggiare negli alloggi dell'equipaggio, salire le strette scale tra i ponti e ammirare il porto dalla prospettiva di un pilota. Gli ospiti di tutte le età possono partecipare a un tour audio gratuito autoguidato e chiacchierare con gli esperti volontari presenti, molti dei quali veterani, per far rivivere la storia.

Con così tante cose da vedere e da fare, prevedete almeno tre o quattro ore a bordo per ottenere il massimo dalla vostra visita.

L'esplorazione della USS Midway può comportare molte camminate e scale da percorrere. Si consiglia di indossare scarpe chiuse e indumenti a strati, poiché le temperature variano all'interno della nave. Si sconsigliano tacchi e gonne.

I bambini adorano il programma Junior Pilot del Museo! Seguite l'aviatore Sam Rodriguez mentre accompagna voi e i bambini in un tour audio sorprendente e divertente in più di 30 luoghi della portaerei. Una volta completati i compiti di Sam, i bambini saranno invitati a partecipare a una cerimonia eseguita da uno dei Docenti volontari del Midway, dove otterranno le loro ali da Junior Pilot!

Tutti i visitatori sono soggetti a un controllo dei bagagli prima di salire a bordo del Midway. Gli articoli vietati includono, a titolo esemplificativo e non esaustivo: cibo/bevande esterne, contenitori di vetro di qualsiasi tipo, animali domestici, biciclette, skateboard/scooter e armi di qualsiasi tipo.

Easy to Use
Took my kids to San Diego and got the City pass. Super easy to use the tickets on the phone. They scan them and you're in to the park; no trying to keep up with the tickets anymore. The CityPASS will save you money and time. I'll use it again when I go back next time.

This is a great deal and was our 2nd CityPass experience. Highly recommended. Of course, we crunched all the numbers to make sure it was. Tickets on the app, worked every time, at everyplace we visited. Do it..!!!
Best family vacation we've ever had!
We bought a city pass for our recent trip to San Diego and it was the best decision. We bought the Legoland plus 3 and we used it fully. We chose the Zoo, Aquarium and the Midway Museum. The pass was so easy to use and we had no issues anywhere. We were able to enjoy so many attractions and we saved a lot compared to the regular prices and we were able to buy the city pass in our home currency which was also really nice. Will definitely buy a city pass again in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value! The San Diego CityPASS was definitely worth it! The price we paid compared to what we would have spent buying tickets separately was a great value. We were able to visit all the attractions we wanted without any issues, and everything was easy and convenient to use. We had a great time and saved a lot of money in the process. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting San Diego and planning to see several attractions!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Totally ripped off! Waste of money We initially wanted to buy ticket for seaworld san diego. Then it introduce us to your citypass promising saving of 40%. So we did bought 2 city pass. But later when I checked on my credit card, I was charged in sterling pound rather than USD. To think my card is in USD. With these conversions, I paid $11.80 more. If I had noticed that I was charged with Sterling pound, I would not have bought you citypass as it turn out to be expensive as we had remaining unused pass. Buying with citypass is a total ripped off. Waste of money. Better to buy direct as seaworld have promo discount with 2 day pass for just $59.99/ea.
